I don’t kneel for any man. Not anymore. I had the perfect dominant boyfriend. Then Cortez left me to save the world. After two and a half years lost drowning my misery in bad decisions, one man changed everything. Rogan is the perfect submissive, who puts me back in control of both him and my life. Until Cortez comes home. Who am I? Cortez’s bottom or Rogan’s top? Maybe I’m both. Maybe I was made to be their middleman.
Middleman Jayne Rylon Books
I have to admit that I was disappointed in this book. I read the sample before I bought it and really enjoyed it. It started out with 3 POV's but quickly became mostly 2 POV's. and that is where I started having problems with the story. The three MC's are Cortez, Kaden and Rogan and I would have liked a more even distribution of POV's. Cortez starts the book and I could feel his pain and then he basically disappeared for most of the book. This is a 39 chapter book and his POV was only in 6 chapters( a couple only 3-4 pages long); as a matter of fact he does not reappear as a romantic interest until almost 70% of the book is done. There is plenty of Kaden and his angst, plenty of Rogan and his problems and worries but Cortez is given very short shrift.I kept thinking,"This is suppose to be a triad, where the heck is Cortez". I even started skimming the sex scenes(there are quite a few between Kaden and Rogan) just to move the story along. Cortez doesn't even have one sex scene with both of the other men in his POV; which could have been very interesting because when Cortez left Kaden, Kaden was his sub and now Kaden is Rogan's Dom.
I just felt like the author spent so much time on Kaden and Rogan's angst and problems getting together but....boom, no trouble becoming a triad. It really fell flat for me.
Now, having gotten my personal problems with this book out of the way, I will say it was well written, no grammatical or editing errors I could see and I did enjoy it in the beginning. You might really enjoy it if what bothered me doesn't bother you. It is not a bad book, I simply got bored waiting for Cortez to show up...but hey, that's just me.

Middleman Jayne Rylon Books Reviews
Fantastic! Jayne Rylon has done it again. Middleman, otherwise known as Meant To Be, was a well developed, in-depth read. Cortez, Rogan and Kaden were characters many could relate to, whether male or female. To find love, lose love and find love again is an age old story, but to lose the one you love while remaining in love can be a struggle. Ms. Rylon continues to write stories that keep me riveted to the pages of her books.
Jayne Rylon's “Middleman” is told from the views of the men in a love triangle. Cortez has left Kaden to continue his military career. Kaden has vowed not to allow his heart to be hurt again by love and gone on a 2 year bender where he doesn't allow another man to top him; he has become the top. Enter Rogan who is looking to commission a portrait of himself for his lover and their fifth anniversary. Rogan and Kaden find the temptation to great and Kaden takes control to top Rogan. Then Cortez returns and Kaden finds himself in the man in the middle. Convincingly written and interesting.
3.5 Stars!!
I love me a threesome and the cover is seriously hot!! This is the first time I'm reading this author's work. I'm at a toss up on this one. There were parts I liked, loved and some that didn't work for me. While I enjoyed the story it wasn't a story that kept my focus and interest throughout.
I love the concept of the story and the story line itself. I think this author did a great job on the characters and the chemistry between them was amazing! This book had a good amount of drama, very little angst and instalike/love. I would have like to read more of the actual threesome relationship and the progression of that relationship. I wanted more of the everyday dynamic of this trio grow, bond and become equally in love with each other. I feel like that part was rushed over.
Overall, this was a good read. It didn't wow me but I did enjoy it and it was sexy AF!!
When the story starts Cortez gets called away for a long assignment and breaks off his relationship with Kaden without giving Kaden a choice, which leaves Kaden in a really dark place for a long time. Finally after close to three years, Kaden is starting to come back to life. He gets commissioned by Rogan to paint a portrait as an anniversary present and they both feel a strong pull to each other. After a few shocking revelations, Kaden & Rogan decide to try and make a relationship work between them. Just as they are starting to settle in together Cortez comes home & trouble comes up from Rogan’s past. Kaden know he loves Rogan but he also has a nagging feeling something is missing. Can he work out what it is or will he lose both Cortez & Rogan? This is another amazing love story by a wonderful author and I highly recommend this book as well as all of her other series.
** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**
This is an emotional story of overcoming heartbreak. Cortez is forced to leave the love of his life. Kaden's heart is broken after Cortez leaves him, so he pours his heart into painting.
Rogan isn't looking for love when he walks into Kaden's studio. He wants an anniversary portrait. Kaden agrees to paint Rogan's portrait, but in the process Rogan is stunned to discover his lover is a cruel cheater. Kaden's heart reaches out to Rogan.
Cortez finally returns only to discover he may be too late. Can he convince Kaden to give him a second chance? Is there a place for Cortez with Kaden and Rogan?
I loved this story. It shows real struggle and triumph over tragedy. It highlights that love takes work and shows that partnership pays off. Smoking hot love scenes, multiple POV's from each of the main characters, expressive art...what more could you want?! Check this book out, it's a great read. I was sucked right into their world and loved every second.
I want to say that Jayne Rylon is one of the best authors out there if you love menage with MMF &MFM. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for taboo. Middleman was amazing the MMM aspect was something new for me but I highly enjoyed it. Caden, Roman and Cortez are three very different men but they make it work like they said who would of thought muscles, money, and an artist could make a working group along with 2 Doms in that equation. I absolutely loved the whole book from cover to cover. I cried, laughed and got pissed along with the characters. It was almost like they were my real friends and for the day they were.Thank you again Jayne for another amazing book. I volunteered to read this book for an HONEST REVIEW!
